Jim used to prop a flat panel closet door on the couch in our apartment for the perfect indoor toddler slide. Crib mattresses also work nicely. Hours of free fun=priceless. I miss that kid! He's too cute. Can't wait to see him. For now, I shall continue to stalk him via your blog.
p.s. Bring your cute yellow dress to Tucson this winter--it will be warm enough here, I guarantee!

You learn a lot about how independent your kid can be when you hit the park. It is great.
Slides also come in the form of a coffee table propped on the couch (or some equivalent). Like: those pieces of furniture are right there, why not??
